The Apartments
The bungalow complex consists of six apartments, where three of them are for rent and the remaining three are private apartments. They are all owned by a family of six sieblings, who inherited the property after their father and divided it into six apartments.
The apartments consist of kitchen, living room, three double bedrooms and two bathrooms. Each apartment is suitable for up to six persons.
The apartments are also equipped with a weekend bed for smaller babies.
There is a refrigerator, oven, gas stove, mini oven, iron and TV.
The area is not particularly touristic.
The surrounding houses are private homes except for a small and very exclusive hotel with 15 rooms that is often visited by bridal couples. Our guests in the bungalows are welcome in the hotel's fine restaurant or in the bar for a drink.
The very exclusive hotel Trou aux Biches is located at the beach approximately 1 km north of the bungalows. We are not disturbed by this at our little beach.
The above photo shows the view that all the apartments share. It is taken from the lowest bungalow's terrace.
A small lawn with shadow from the palm trees lies between the apartments and the lovely sand beach which is placed in north-westly direction. The sea is child-friendly and very suitable for divers because of the reef. The beach in front of the complex is a beautiful sand beach with a wonderful azure sea. The beach is private and quite peaceful.
The reef is placed a couple of hundred meters out in the sea, which makes the water in the lagoon very calm and ideal for children and divers. Fish swim close to the shoreline and small pieces of coral drift into the beach.
A housekeeper comes by for about four hours every day except sundays. She does the cleaning, changes the bed linen, does the dishes and she will go shopping and cook dinner for the symbolic amount of two euros. There is no washing machine in the apartments but the housekeeper will wash the clothes by hand for a symbolic amount.
The housekeeper can prepare international breakfast and a three-course homemade menu for dinner in the kitchen.
